What’s better than watching a romantic movie (Vacation in France) on a rainy Monday afternoon, while sipping an amazing bio fruits juice laying on the couch? Maybe living in nice villa in France together with a gorgeous talented chef, trying to get inspired for the next novel, as the main character (a writer from New York) in this movie does. The best romance you can write is the one that you live yourself. I bet these two (the writer and the “chef Cupidon”) will fall in love by the end of movie. So predictable.
For a blogger, days like this should be an opportunity to write a few posts, but I’m meteo-dependant, so my mood is kind of low right now. Not sure how I’ll finish this post (if!). On top of the iceberg, not only it rains, it’s windy too.
So, what else can you do in a rainy Monday afternoon in your home? Poking up in memories while watching old photos. The disadvantage is that it may put you into a melancholic mood, longing for the summer holiday.
How about watching the lifestyle show Fine Living on TV?
I love to see how other people choose houses to buy or rent, or how (re)decorate the old ones to look different. Today they showed how to build tiny houses on the tiny budget of 10,000$. It was useful to see how they managed to arrange such tiny spaces so that they may have all the comfort they needed.
On rainy Mondays afternoon it’s time to try a new recipe, not just an ordinary one, but a fine dining main course or a tasty cheesecake.
Do laundry for the whole week
I didn’t, but sounds like a good idea if you feel like.
Play hearts with Bill, John and Lisa (search hearts on google and you’ll find out what I’m talking about) and meditate on the valuable lessons this game teaches you about life. Like, it’s always safer to stick to the rules. However, sometimes not even that does save you from failure and you just have to let it go.
Well, and you can just buy a nice Windproof Double Layer Folding Inverted Umbrella and go outside for an afternoon walk in the rain.
Enjoy the rain!
